Safari Animals

About Safari animals.

Some people should perhaps be called "safari animals", but the true safari animals can be found in the savannahs, deserts, semi-deserts, wetlands and game reserves of Africa. The continent has an unlimited variety of exciting destinations. Popular countries for adventure travel are Botswana, Lesotho, Kenya, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa and Swaziland.

On a safari, animals can be dangerous. Therefore never leave your car and always keep a good distance. Never swim in rivers where corocodiles and hippos are seen. You may not notice them, but they're there. Other potentially dangerous animals are lions, elephants, rhinos and buffaloes. Take precautions against snakes as well.

Some of the safari animals you'll come across are: lion, hyaena, zebra, giraffe, elephant, leopard, buffalo, impala, wildbeest, hippo, cheetah, antelope, sable antelope, rhino, aardvark and steenbok. Some of the birds you'll encounter are vultures, eagles, rollers, owls, hornbills, starlings and shrikes. Africa, its wildlife, nature and climate will leave an unforgettable impression on your mind.
